My name is Ann. I work at a coffee shop in a pretty small town. My Aunt Connie owns the place, and we don't exactly get along. However, I have no backbone, so she pretty much walks all over me, and I just lie there and take it.
I am a recovering anorexic. The recovering part just means that I go to a shrink and try not to be such a control freak. I keep having relapses, but the amount of time that I manage to eat a healthy amount gets longer and longer. Also, I've been asking for help before I really start starving myself hardcore, so I feel like I'm definitely doing better.
Nine months ago, I moved out, mainly to preserve my sanity and that of my parents. After two sets of roommates, I decided that living alone is really the way to go. I'm kind of an artsy space cadet, so no one really wants to put up with my messes or my deplorable laundry habits. Life is easier when I have no one but my cat to fight with. My shitty little apartment is in the closest thing to a ghetto this town has, and my neighbor stares at me with binoculars, but at least it's MY ghetto-ass scary shithole.
I have a very serious boyfriend named George. He kicks ass at making music, playing video games, stealing stuff, listening to me bitch, and having sex. Dont' worry, there's way more to him than that, I just chose to list his most notable talents. We're getting married next summer, and then we will have blissful, condom-free sex for the rest of our lives and make beautiful babies. And we're going to be a famous band someday. Or actors. Whichever ends up being more convenient. I'm sure we'll actually end up working shitty 9 to 5 jobs, kind of like we do now , only with normal people hours so we can feel like grown ups. But hey, a girl can dream, right?
